For the past several years, I have participated and been a part of making ARF - Animal Rescue Fair
and Pet Adoptions, happen each year. Over the past several years there has been great success in the
number of animals adopted out during the event.
For those of you who are not familiar with ARF, it takes place outside of Atlanta, GA and brings
together 50-70 rescues and humane organization under one roof for a day of adoptions, education and pet
products. There are usually 20+ vendors with pet products, some of Atlanta's pet expert put on demonstrations
or educational seminars about animals and there is a kids place for the children. There is a free program
with all the participants listed along with advertising for pet products given out to all visitors.
Over the past several years the crowd coming thourgh the gate has grown to 2-4,000 visitors. It has
been widely advertised in the media and is a free event. It takes a lot of effort from a small group of
people to put on this event. With no major sponsors of the event, it takes a lot of effort, time and money.
We are looking for a major sponsor that would be willing to take over this event with out guidance and
make it happen. The event draws people from through out the southeast and with more advertising and PR it
would pull and even larger crowd. This is a showcase event for anyone who would be willing to sponsor it
and make it happen each year. There is much more potential than what has happen so far. It has come a long
way in the past seven years but it's time to grow to the next level.
If you are interested and have the capacity to manage this event, please get in contact with me at my
Email.

I am displaying this image on my site to remind us of all the scary things
that happens to animals everyday... horse slaughter, dogs and cats destroyed daily,
wolves shot down for sport, deer slaughter, bears confined in small cages, wolves poisoned, abuse,
pets left to starve and more and more. It is a scary world out there for all our animal friends.
