Welcome to the Art of Henry Patton!

Henry is a master of portraits of animals, especially horses and dogs. He is recognized as a unique artist of animal portraits. Capturing the essence of the animal whether it is a pet or a working horse or dog. He accepts commissions from your photos of your animals or from photos that he can take if you are local to metro Atlanta. His portraits start at 8"x10" in size and go to larger sizes. I paint animals, mostly horses and some people when they have an animal with them. I have spent several years getting to know horses - studying, touching, riding and caring for them. I’ve looked into their eyes and felt the wisdom of their soul. I’ve observed their beauty and gentleness. I’ve been bitten and bruised, and felt their power and strength. I’ve seen their vulnerability and cried over their weakness. Now they are a part of my soul. My art tries to communicate the things I have seen and felt in horses.
